Decided to buy some new shoes as figured my knee pain was result of my worn out Asics – splashed out on some Brooks Adrenaline which are a bit more supportive. I still have knee pain although my shoes look much better! My mileage was back up this last week – I’ve run two 5 milers, a 16 miler and an 8 miler. Have also subscribed to the Runners World Marathon training newsletter and started to use their training plan. Plan for this week is five runs – two five milers, an 8 miler a 3 miler and a brisk 15 miler at the weekend – hope my knee ligaments don’t snap!
